My ex contacted me after 6 months of no contact, he was the one who initiated breakup and left, our relationship was 7 years older and he came back to me with lots of love bombing such as i cant replace u i love you i miss you wanna see you wanna love you... my responses were no so validating i acted cold bcs i suffered a lot of pain when he left so my coldness was obvious... he did this love bombing for straight 4 days and then started acting cold and distant.. this made me feel anxious.. i send him a quote and a short text on whatsapp.. he read my message and left on seen. This is hurting me how can someone pour love and then acts cold. This is disturbing me a lot feels like i lost all of my strengths and healing i have done in these 6 months. May this rat rot in hell for such a narcissistic behavior.

who cares if the ex reached out? chances are they are just breadcrumbing you, or hoping for some validation from you once they see you start moving on. they may even reach out to you though they’re chasing someone else. they say they want you to move on, but really they toy with the idea that you’re always going to be pining for them. it’s all about them receiving validation and an ego boost. it’s never, never about them feeling sincerely regretful about the way they’ve treated you.

Social media is a highlight reel. What your looking for isnt there. Will you feel better? You know you wont. Put it down, go outside, read a book. Like any bad habit, I find just asking what my intention is helps to stop me from doing it

my ex reached out for a thing she left at my place by coming over, i was indifferent during the meeting and also for the day, but after that meeting i feel like i'm doing worse. i'm feeling worse than before the reach out, the feelings of hurt, resentment and anger are resurfacing leaving a bitter taste in my mouth. i feel like i'm having to start NC all over again even though the meeting was for a minute. i wish she never reached out

If someone thinks they can find something better than you then you should let them go. Please don't take them back. And never go after it. That person cannot be trusted. Accept the pain and be strong. This way you will quickly get over it, you will become wiser and you will achieve much more in your life! You are the most valuable thing in your life! This is something my fearful avoidant told me. Looking back, she did love me. She just couldnt express it in the way of saying that she loves me. It does not mean that they DIDNT HAVE FEELINGS, but that the avoidant does not feel comfortable with saying the words, although they DO love you And it had always been that way, even when the relationship was still perfectly fine

Ironically my ex who left me after 6 months kept saying I was love bombing her at the start of the relationship. I just knew I liked her so I did sweet things and didn’t hide that I wanted to be exclusive. Guess it was too much and I should’ve been more subtle, but you’d think transparency is liked.

I also removed her from my followers. I felt like knowing that she was watching my stories and posts would raise my anxiety. I don't regret unfollowing her but I do regret removing her from my followers. Before going no contact I told her that I made mistake and that she could follow me if she wanted. She told me not to worry about it but hasn't followed me. Was it a mistake? If it was, is there a way to fix it?

I been having those thoughts about can people really be monogamous and it seems like it is a very hard work specially in today’s time where people can easily hide their behavior and put on a “good” partner mask. I feel emotional cheating is harder to forget that physical either way it is s###t# when it happens to the receiver… it causes a lot of damage… sometimes i am often questioning if that happens again to me … will i really be able to date again ? What are your thoughts on that space? do you find yourself able to trust again ?

I unfriended her after a month. The. She breadcrumbs and I ended up blocked her on Facebook because I couldn’t stop looking at her page. I left her open on snap she looks at every story even tho I don’t look at hers(easier to avoid snap because they’ll know if you look. But ever since I blocked a month ago she has not reached out and she ignored me a few weeks ago when I saw her in public. So I wouldn’t recommend blocking either just delete the app. I probably f ed up and I guess I just gotta deal with it.
